Mapa Scotland’s first AGM took place at the de Vere Barony Castle Hotel, Eddleston, EH45 8QW, at 2 pm on Sunday 10th April 2011.

Visits to General Maczek’s Great Map of Scotland began from 11am onwards, with supporters available to answer any questions (and the chance to join us to work on the map clean up).  We welcome anyone with an interest in supporting this important project in kind, in spirit or in any other way.  Three years of planning and clean up work has been done, and we have a major Heritage Lottery Fund grant application in process.  The AGM gave the opportunity to hear about the progress we have made, and about our future plans.  It is very important that we secure the support of local and regional groups and make our democratic base as broad as possible.  For more information please look at our website:

We look forward to meeting you in future at the Great Map.
