The Penicuik Arts Festival 2008 follows the success
of the first
festival last year and the Penicuik Arts Trail started two years ago. It brings together a fortnight of arts events
organised by the volunteers of two local arts charities, Penicuik Community
Development Trust and Penicuik Community Arts Association, plus a handful of
individual artists and performers and other local organisations, with the help
of space and support from local shops and restaurants. It’s timed to chime with
the nearby Edinburgh and Peebles festivals. You’ll find a mixed program of exhibitions
and workshops and events for all ages. Contact 01968 672 706
