The Penicuik Arts Festival 2008 will follow the success of last year’s festival, the well-established Penicuik Arts Trail.  It actively co-ordinates two weeks of arts events by Penicuik Community Development Trust, Penicuik Community Arts Association with other local organisations and individual artists and performers to coincide with the nearby Edinburgh and Peebles festivals.  We are putting together a mixed program of exhibitions and events for all ages.  Contact 01968 672 706 or 677 854.  We’re grateful to Midlothian Council for helping to put Penicuik Arts Festival into the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.  Although the Penicuik Arts Festival is a concentrated celebration it’s part of a continuous series of exhibitions, events and films, arranged by local volunteers right through the year - look back and forwards at some of them.
