PENICUIK
ARTS FESTIVAL NEWS

RICHARD
DEMARCO
-decades ago
chose the competition-winning entry (by a German visitor to Scotland)
for the garden mural at Penicuik Arts Centre. The mural was replaced this year
and Richard came back to celebrate the opening of our 2007 Arts Festival.
“Everyone is an artist, everyone can sing” Every role and function in life
deserves to be celebrated to the full he said, and he used artworks around our
community’s gallery one by one to illustrate this.
